This workshop focuses on Versal simulation and profiling.  The session walks through the individual steps to create a System Project for system level simulation, debug and then profiling. 

There are common aspects and also important variences.  There are certain dependencies based on whether the AIE graph code runs under Linux or Baremetal OS, which then facilitates the use of XRT or  BSP libraries respectiively.   

This is the basis of connecting PL, PS and AIE components. After developing and verifiying each sub component, the challenge of system functional testing looms large. 

Once that is complete, then we focus on profiling and optimizing data-flow.
