Bill Kafig
Bill joined TSI in 2006, bringing an impressive career in
hardware and software design, and teaching.
Bill's career began with the Department of the Army,
venturing into a wide variety of hardware areas including
closed-loop feedback systems, RADAR control, high-speed data
acquisition, aircraft communication and control systems, and
system integration.
After 16 years with the Department of the Army, Bill
joined the private sector, building black box recorders for
light rail, consulting on numerous projects including high
performance graphic applications, teaching computer science
at the University of Maryland, and doing field applications
engineering.
"I was walking along the Vegas strip, looking for some
action...and found it at TSI. Having a sense of humor
and being able to apply it during classroom training makes
it fun for me and for the engineers. When you
learn something, that's a good presentation. When
you're entertained as well, that's a great presentation."
